The 2010 Torres Strait Community Based Turtle and Dugong Management Planning Workshop aimed to finalise and reach agreement between community representatives and agencies about the content of the final seven (of fifteen) Community Based Dugong and Marine Turtle Management Plans; and to ensure these plans reflect a workable and achievable balance of traditional owner and agency priorities, aspirations and perspectives. A workshop was held on Thursday Island at the Grand Hotel during 7-10 June 2010.
