To fulfill public needs for clean water and to improve waste water treatment, Jakarta Municipality is planning to set regional regulation (Perda) on Policy and Strategy Water Resource Management (SDA). It is hoped the regulation can be finished in six months and will be given to Jakarta House of Representatives (DPRD) immediately to be discussed and ratified. Later on, it will regulate many things relating to natural resource management policies and strategies for 20 years ahead and synergized with Jakarta spatial plan (RTRW) regulation 2010-2030.
