Water system report says higher risk for remote communities

The National Assessment of Water and Wastewater Systems in First Nation Communities has been completed and the results have been released. … Thirty-nine per cent of the systems surveyed were classified as high overall risk with 34 per cent labeled medium overall risk and 27 per cent categorized as low overall risk. The high-risk water systems affect 25 per cent of Canada’s on-reserve population.

  1. If this is the case of well developed country like Canada, what will be the plight of poor Nations where natural resources are plundered at the risk of local communities?
