Water wars have been raging in California for as long as anyone can remember, and so far it’s been big agriculture and big corporations who have been winning. But maybe the little guys may still stand a chance… Governor Jerry Brown signed Assembly Bill 983, The Access to Safe Drinking Water Act, on October 7 as part of the Human Right to Water bill package backed by a broad coalition of environmental justice advocates.
